Biicla bids goodbye to 2020 with closing single, ‘Luv’

Thinking outside of the box is one of Biicla‘s strong suits; translating the unconventional ideas that result into sound is another. Listeners can find the Saint Petersburg-based producer playing both to his advantage on “Luv,” the first single to get the Biicla stamp of approval since the April 3 issue of his debut album, No Place.

The one-off arrives courtesy of Tchami‘s Confession. Those fluent in all things Confession will note that “Luv” immediately distinguishes itself from fellow label releases in its downtempo, pitched-down technics. Sitting at 112 BPM, “Luv” slithers through striking percussion, steadied by a rousing synth line and punctuating breakdowns. Carrying Biicla’s inimitable signature, “Luv” finds the Russian force to be reckoned with crossing the final checkpoint of 2020 and simultaneously sparking curiosity about what’s next.
