DNF and I.GOT.U unite for cover of Eiffel 65’s ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’

It’s no secret that an Eiffel 65 classic dominated the ’90s and early 2000’s Euro-dance scene, cementing itself as one of electronic music’s earliest influences. Originally released in 1999, “Blue (Da Ba Dee),” has enjoyed a massive resurgence over the past year fueled by a viral cover from Nea (remixed by Felix Jaehn), not to mention Flume‘s long-awaited bass remix.

Now, Polish producers DNF and I.GOT.U join the fold for what appears to be the next crowd pleaser as 2021 festival plans start to roll out. Adam Skrzypiec (aka I.GOT.U), is buzzing in the Poland club scene and has seen millions of global streams to date, while fellow Poland-native DNF has received artist support from Tiësto, with releases on top dance labels such as Armada and Ultra Music.

Released via rising German dance label BEFORE EIGHT, the contemporary take on “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” features the original’s beloved auto-tuned vocal effects over an upbeat bassline as DNF and I.GOT.U push their spin toward energetic, progressive house climaxes. Hear the producers assert their chops below.
