Good Morning Mix: Armin van Buuren’s 17th annual ‘A State of Trance Year Mix’
In a year unlike anything, Armin van Buuren leaves no doubt in his ability to virtuously express the importance of strong will and unity with his 17th annual A State of Trance Year Mix album. Spanning more than 100 tracks featuring trance’s most legendary, such as Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Paul van Dyk, and many more, the glimmering, two-hour compilation mix is expected to lighten these trying times.
van Buuren reflected on the year and how music, including his A State of Trance Year Mix 2020, fit into it, remarking,
“It’s been a tough year for everyone…COVID-19 made me realize how lucky I am to be doing this. I really miss physically connecting with people around the world, and I felt a bit lost without the magic of performing for a crowd and experiencing this music together. Fortunately, I could continue broadcasting my ‘A State Of Trance’ radio show from my studio in Amsterdam to connect with everyone online. I’m extremely thankful for that.
I hope that this 17th edition of the year mix brings some much-needed light into this year and gives everyone something to look forward to.”
The trance titan also stated that fans can expect “something special” on January 21, which marks the 1000th episode of A State Of Trance. “There are a few surprises coming in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on my social media channels,” van Buuren concluded.
