Good Morning Mix: Bonobo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs share stellar BBC Essential Mix

Bonobo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs recently shared their collaborative two-track release titled Heartbreak / 6000 Ft. Now, the pair of renowned artists now have followed-up with an amplified Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. The delicately curated journey features 80s-styled breakbeats and eclectic down-tempo grooves, inspired by their single “Heartbreak,” which samples the ‘83 disco anthem “Weekend” by Class Action. Says Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs,

“Now more than ever, it feels important to be putting out dance music with deliberate acknowledgment of its history.”

In September, Bonobo launched his OUTLIER imprint with his Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs collaboration, “Heartbreak,” and “6000 Ft.” Their Essential Mix seamlessly explores a wide selection of tranquilizing genres including unreleased songs and demos from Bonobo and TEED themselves, as well as featuring tracks from artists such as Honey Dijon, Skream, Shadow Child, and more. Hear the new Essential Mix below.
