Good Morning Mix: Prepare for Tchami’s NYE opening duties with his debut Tomorrowland appearance

It’s officially New Year’s Eve, and before Tchami assumes the responsibilities of opening up Tomorrowland‘s Planaxis stage as one of the virtual event’s earliest digital performers, we’re mentally and physically readying ourselves for the evening at hand with the Year Zero mastermind’s first-ever appearance in Boom, Belgium.

Having appeared alongside his masked No Redemption counterpart at Tomorrowland’s two most recent iterations, the Parisian first touched down in Belgium in 2017, standing atop the mainstage as the rain clouds passed over to deliver a 58-minute masterclass in future house. Giving a festival audience a live look into what would become his Revelations EP just a handful of weeks later, Tchami provided a welcome debut Tomorrowland showing as he ran through everything from “World To Me” with Luke James to his adaptation of Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway‘s “Wizard” down to a vibrant finale of the EP’s staple cut, “Adieu.”

In the time leading up to Tomorrowland’s virtual NYE eventDancing Astronaut has revisited Tomorrowland sets from artists slated to perform at the dance-focused finale to 2020. Revisit the past four sets ahead of the evening’s beginning with our Tomorrowland NYE Good Morning Mix series, and learn why Tomorrowland’s Around The World festival was named our top digital event of 2020 here.
