Gorillaz to perform livestreamed ‘Song Machine’ shows with 14-piece band

On December 12 and 13, Gorillaz will stream a series of Song Machine performances from Kong Studios’ basement. The animated group’s three performances (split up so viewers worldwide can tune in) start at 6:00 a.m. EST. Tickets cost approximately $20 for one show or $40 for all three, and are available on Gorillaz’s website.
Gorillaz will be joined with a full 14-piece band on stage to help with live instrumentation and backing vocals. Additionally, several special guests who featured on 2020’s Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez will make appearances, including 6LACK, EARTHGANG, Fatoumata Diawara, Georgia, JPEGMAFIA, Peter Hook, CHAI, and the incomparable Elton John.
