1788-L signals return with enigmatic new website

After a week of posting ambiguous messages, 1788-L has unveiled a new website. True to 1788-L fashion, the website requires a binary code in order to display details regarding an impending new release.

Fans are first asked to enter an email address; upon doing so, they are directed to a page that requests a command. The bottom of the screen features a stream of flashing code and reveals to those able to convert the binary into the command an upcoming release titled “Parallel:S.” According to the Deadbeats pre-save page, the release will be available on April 2. It is not clear whether “Parallel:S” is a single or something longer-form.

Back in November of 2020, 1788-L began teasing new releases, thanking fans for their patience over the past year and promising that the wait would be over soon. On March 15, he shared a video of the website loading page with the caption “I N S T A L L / N O W ?” He continued to share the homepage of his site throughout the week, and finally posted the link on March 23.

1788-L’s last original release was the 2019 single “Momentary Lapse” with Glitch Mob. In 2020, he appeared on Illennium‘s ASCEND (Tour Edits) with “Crashing vs. Destiny” and also remixed Madeon‘s “All My Friends.”
