Good Morning Mix: Travel back in time to Eric Prydz’s Ultra 2014 takeover
In 2014, Eric Prydz had high hopes of debuting the festival version of his visual show EPIC 2.0, otherwise known as HOLO. At the time, the five-ton LED hologram stage set up would have been the largest hologram ever used in North America, but gusty winds and bad weather deferred the premiere of the mammoth production.
However, the Swedish DJ did not need a host of holographic effects to impress fans at Ultra Music Festival, stunning Bay Front Park with high-octane clubs hits from his Pryda and Cirez D aliases before interweaving celebrated cuts from his own primary project such as “Every Day,” “Liberate,” and “Pjanoo.” Fans were fortunate to witness a true master at work from the ultimate platform: Ultra Music Festival Miami.
