Ryos proves progressive house to be anything but ‘Fool’s Gold’ with HAVOQ, Nino Lucarelli
Ryos has been a fixture of the Revealed Recordings talent list stretching across each and every year of the past half-decade, and that custom is now trotting into 2021. After a quartet of deliveries on the Hardwell-owned imprint to help power everyone through the COVID-19 pandemic, Ryos reassured listeners that what he’d been cultivating at home would be worthwhile and has now followed through on that promise with HAVOQ and Nino Lucarelli on “Fool’s Gold.”
The New York-bred mastermind has always been one to guarantee that the light of progressive house wouldn’t dim in the slightest, with “Fool’s Gold” attesting to be the polar opposite of what its title suggests. Serving as his first original since “Hey Child” in August of 2020, “Fool’s Gold” winds a chain of patented progressive house atop of the singer-songwriter’s perpetually topflight vocals.
