What So Not shares his sought-after mashup of Kendrick Lamar ‘Money Trees’ and Mura Masa’s ‘Lotus Eater’
The holiday season might have come to an end, but that isn’t stopping What So Not from bearing gifts in his return from hiatus. The Australian producer recently took to Twitter to generously announce that he will be gifting fans unreleased bootlegs throughout the entire month of March.
To kick things off, What So Not has spontaneously dropped his coveted mashup of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Money Trees” and Mura Masa‘s “Lotus Eater,” a tune that’s been sought after since its earliest plays on the Divide & Conquer tour five years ago. Kendrick’s easy-breezy vocals and Masa’s bass-dripping beats make for a match made in heaven, a point proven by clips of this bomb of a tune being dropped live.
With at least a handful of additional bootlegs coming down the pipeline, fans are currently left to speculate about what’s next to come from the Sydney producer’s impressive arsenal. “Money Trees vs Lotus Eater (What So Not Edit)” is available to stream below, but has also been made available for download here.
