Good Morning Mix: Celebrate EXIT’s 20th anniversary with Skrillex’s 2014 headline set

This year EXIT Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary—one that feels extra special in the wake of last year’s globally gutted events circuit. 20 years for a festival is no small feat, with the Serbian event drawing thousands from across Europe each year with stellar programming from across the electronic spectrum. As the festival approaches its 2021 edition later this summer, running July 8 – 11, fans can celebrate the event’s long-running legacy with a revisiting of Skrillex’s unforgettable 2014 headlining set. What’s more—Skrillex is currently set to make his own return this summer, with highly anticipated new material set to be released any minute following his brief return to social media.

An 85-minute highlight reel from front to back, the performance covers a run through Skrillex’s greatest hits and more, blasting through a selection of the time’s biggest tunes, including tracks from What So Not, BREACH, RL Grime, A$AP Rocky, NERO, Diplo, and so many more. Glued together by the OWSLA head honcho’s catalog classics, from “Make it Bun Dem” to “Rock N’ Roll”, and “Devil’s Den” to “Try It Out,” Skrillex’s EXIT Festival headline performance is reflective of the concurrent global boom EDM was experiencing at the time. What a time to be alive. Stream the set below and secure tickets to this year’s EXIT Festival here.
