Janee turns in chilled-out STMPD RCRDS ID from Tomorrowland NYE, ‘Can’t Let You Go’

In between Martin Garrix’s onslaught of 10 STMPD RCRDS IDs during Tomorrowland’s New Year’s Eve virtual countdown, one ID in particular seemed to drive the ensuing discourse. Although some suggested that it was an original from Garrix’s Ytram alias while others were convinced that it was a piece of AREA21’s fall-slated debut LP, both of those forecasts were debunked when STMPD RCRDS uncloaked Janee as the label’s newest initiate and architect behind “Can’t Let You Go.” As Janee’s first unaccompanied appearance since his springtime rebrand, the climbing Belgian outfit has finally greenlit the Tomorrowland ID just beyond the four-month mark of its origin.

Janee had the exhaustive STMPD RCRDS team loudly singing his praises during the label’s ID guessing game video, though his identity as the mastermind behind the track had not yet been revealed at the time. Through its medley of lulling vocals, set against Janee’s unwound directive of melodic house, “Can’t Let You Go” followed through on its rationale of being one of the most sought-after pieces of Garrix’s digital bout, with the hope now resulting in the release being only the first of many for Janee on STMPD RCRDS moving forward.
