Revealed Recordings celebrates 10 years with updates of Hardwell classics from Ryos, Maddix, KAAZE, and more

Revealed Recordings didn’t get to properly commemorate its milestone 10th anniversary in person throughout 2020, but Hardwell‘s imprint hasn’t let that get in the way of doing so release-wise. Though Revealed devotees will have to wait and see if it is among the rescheduled stage hosts for Ultra’s 2022 return, in the meantime, they can busy themselves with six of the label boss’ time-honored classics for a 10-year celebration remix EP that seeks assistance from some of Revealed Recordings’ finest names.

Revealed 10 Year Anniversary is an overpowering barrel of house nostalgia, with the Dutch label electing to re-up a slice of Hardwell’s king-sized discography as a fitting stand-in for the bigroom captain, who continues his earned leave from the electronic music world. Commencing with Sick Individuals‘ hard-hitting take on “Apollo,” the EP trots through Ryos‘ progressive reimagining of “Being Alive,” Dr Phunk’s hardstyle spin on “Spaceman,” Maddix’s new-age techno update of “Apollo,” KAAZE’s self-rework of “This Is Love” under his BLK RSE alias, Jac & Harri’s piano house makeover of “Chase The Sun,” and ultimately, Drumstone’s melodic house undertaking of one of Hardwell’s final pre-hiatus appearances, “Retrograde.”
