Those looking for a quick summary can consider HAAi a techno act, however that’s not because her sound is techno through and through, but more because the genre often finds itself at the core of her ambitious productions. Her new remix of “The Darkness That You Fear” is no different, as she outfits the tune with a dark and industrial techno palette before applying it as a whirring background to the original’s disco-drenched vocals.
