No Mana, Tommy Trash ‘Can’t Say No’ to a new collaboration
No Mana has returned to mau5trap with Tommy Trash in tow for the new single “Can’t Say No.” The track precedes the pair’s upcoming compilation album, with “Can’t Say No” taking inspiration from MySpace’s Top 8. The mau5trap issue features vocals from Tommy Trash and takes listeners back to the height of the electro house era. Speaking in a press release, No Mana said of the track,
“Hold onto your hype machine reviews and pause your favorite MySpace emo band and look no further cuz this is your new source of new music promo!!!!111!1 Myself and Tommy Trash decided to collaborate and kick off this headache (excuse the vaccine) of a compilation album with our track ‘Can’t Say No.’
This four-minute baby right here features three ounces of music, a tub of drums, microwaved synthesis, and spicy vocals from, nope, you didn’t guess it, Tommy’s own vocals. The nostalgic ingredients of this track are the perfect recipe for a certified 2008 recession banger. If you need a track to match the pain of your house rapidly depreciating in value, then this is the track for you and your neighbors.”
No Mana released his debut album Secret Level in February 2020, followed by his Secret Secret Level EP that October. Meanwhile, Tommy Trash has been kept busy with a slew of collaborations of late, including “Emergency” with Yolanda Be Cool and “hiiigh” with Daisy Guttridge.
