After an assortment of original singles and a crown taken at Zedd‘s “Inside Out” remix competition in 2020, Maliboux is throwing his hat into the release ring for his 2021 opener, “Freakshow.” Servicing the electronic circuit with a dastardly, dubby parcel of bass, intensity, and wonky flair, Maliboux affixes his name to a single that underscores its appeal in heavier circles while setting high expectations for whatever else is to come out of his vault this year. A potential live favorite in the making, likely to be picked up and played out by bass mavens stepping up to the decks across the nation, “Freakshow” is a walloping dose of low-end TNT with impact—and it’s not the first or the last flex of dance capacity that we’ll see from Maliboux.
