Audien goes back to his ‘roots’ on ‘Wish It Was You’ featuring Cate Downey

Audien has made good on his promise to deliver plenty of new “melodic and progressive” music throughout 2021, with the latest installment in this sonic series manifesting in the form of “Wish It Was You” featuring Cate Downey. In an Instagram post, the Armada Music signee described the single, which first debuted in his ID-brimmed summer mixtape, as a cut reflective of who he is as an artist, writing, “I’m dropping a song that truly is me, and it feels so good. Music is a crazy, sometimes confusing journey, but it always feels so good to go back to your roots.”
