GUMMiBEAR turns in brand new original work, ‘BMW’ featuring Mark Dohner
GUMMiBEAR has returned to drop off a rare original work amid a steady stream of remixed products that started landing last year. Teaming up with social media personality Mark Dohner for a brand new single, GUMMiBEAR is back with a summer-inspired cruiser, “BMW.”
The enigmatic newcomer wrote their sophomore single “BMW” with friend Blake Stokes during lockdown, inspired by the idea of driving a BMW M4 with the top down in the middle of the summer, evoking that carefree, best self slide with the wind in one’s hair. The pair reached out to social media star Mark Dohner to cut the vocals, then, once in the studio, the two found pitching down the vocal brought a unique dynamic and energy to the track that just felt right. “BMW” is a feel-good summer cut that is perfect for a drive with the windows down and the stereo turned all the way up.
