Insomniac will require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test result (obtained within 72 hours prior to entry) for all future events, Pasquale Rotella announced on August 25. Further details on Insomniac’s COVID-19 safety protocols, including exceptions based on local state laws, will be published on each event’s social channels and website FAQ within a week of the original announcement, according to Rotella.
Insomniac’s implementation of the vaccination/negative test policy precedes Beyond Wonderland (Aug 27 – Aug 28) and perhaps most notably, EDC Las Vegas (Oct 22 – 24). The news contributes to the new precedent for event entry amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with Insomniac joining AEG Presents and Live Nation in announcing a vaccination/negative test-guided model for attendance.
