Must-stream: TSHA’s ‘OnlyL’ EP has landed
TSHA‘s three-track OnlyL EP has landed at last via Ninja Tune. The London-based producer’s multi-genre talents are on full-display through the club-ready tracks, centered “on the things that bring love and joy.” In a press release, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 stated,
“I’m over the moon to share this full EP that features three songs that all encapsulate different sides of me, personally and musically…I’d like for people to interpret the music in their own way, but for me this transports me to that point in the night where things slow down, and transition into the afterparty. Some of the experiences at that time have been very special to me. It’s been a real journey the whole thing, so finally being able to share it is a real pleasure.”
OnlyL thoroughly outlines TSHA’s capacity to craft melodic, club-minded candidates for heavy rotation while blending shades of pop, house, down-tempo, and ’70s British funk break-beats. The EP rounds off with a previously unreleased track, “I Know,” which accompanies “OnlyL” and “Power,” released in June and August, respectively.
