Shadient shares shapeshifting new single ‘Dancing Alone Again’ with fknsyd
Shadient has shared the latest single from his forthcoming debut album, “Dancing Alone Again” alongside fknsyd. The English producer and Texas-based vocalist reconvene one year after the two collaborated for the first time on Gud Vibrations with “Miles of Mind” from Shadient’s Infinite Structure EP. Now, “Dancing Alone Again” is revealed as the second single cropped from Shadient’s forthcoming debut LP, Have You No Burden. The collaborative new track follows his July release, “Ego Insaniac.”
Accurately self-described as his “best song yet,” “Dancing Alone Again” pathways Shadient’s signature flex of experimental dexterity as eerie and emotional soundscapes build into a unique contrast of sonic elements. Ultimately, fknsyd’s vocals ride over a blend of mid-tempo rhythms, lo-fi, and synthwave tropes, offering a glimpse into the futuristic sound of Shadient’s new full-length project.
