Silque deliver two-for-one EP on STMPD RCRDS, ‘Faith In You & It’s Not Over’
For a fourth time this year, Silque are going through STMPD RCRDS, signaling their first double-sided EP since Batman & Throw Ya Hands from the end of 2019. After receiving the opportunity to rejoin the live music circuit with an opening slot on the label’s stage takeover at Creamfields, the Dutch dyad has doubled up for their newest release outing with Faith In You & It’s Not Over.
Prolonging the more club-laden direction that they took on “I’m A Mess” when compared to “Dial Tone” and “Ferris Buehler,” Silque dish out a pair of productions that are rooted on the feeling of affection. “Faith In You” and “It’s Not Over” hold their own distinctive, well-defined character of tech house while being backed by an anonymous topline, with Clementine Douglas and Frenk de Vries alluding to the two-for-one showing being “just the start.”
