Lost Kings have come hurtling in with a rapid-turnaround remix of Kanye West‘s “Jail Pt. 2,” the original featured on West’s culture-shifting 10th studio album, DONDA. An unmistakable set-booster, “Jail Pt. 2 (Lost Kings Remix)” is sure to provoke a crowd, whether streamed via Aux or spun on industry-standard CDJs. The American duo, consisting of Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz, grants the DaBaby-assisted DONDA record its de jure rights to the dancefloor, imparting a four-on-the-floor re-interpretation led by a hopelessly-catchy mono synth progression.
The Disruptor outfit’s latest offering arrived in response to a fan’s tweet. The online admirer, who attended one of the duo’s recent tour dates, wrote, “[Lost Kings] played a remix of Jail Pt. 2 and it was the highlight of my night last night! Great show gentlemen,” to which Lost Kings replied, “and it’s on SoundCloud!”
