Louis The Child elicit pure ‘Euphoria’ on aptly titled EP
After taking North America by storm alongside a list of widely acclaimed supporting names like Whethan, What So Not, and K. Flay, Louis The Child have just given new life to their recently retired Euphoria tour with the release their highly-anticipated Euphoria EP.
The six-track EP includes many of the duo’s project previews, including “So What” with A R I Z O N A, “hate u cuz i don’t” alongside Bea Miller, and most recently, “Hole In My Heart” alongside Livingston. Largely inspired by the 2009-2012 era of dance music, the duo sought help from none other than one of electronic music’s undisputed kings to round out the EP’s tracklisting. After premiering it during their stint with Relentless Beats back in July, Louis The Child recruit Skrillex to co-produce the EP’s final cut “Waiting To Feel Like This,” with the EP as a whole encapsulating the intoxicating bliss that ensued in tandem with dance music’s formative years.
Bright synth work, syncopated vocal chops, and a subtle sense of bloghouse nostalgia, it’s clear the pair’s intent was captured impeccably. Taking to social media, Louis The Child told followers that the EP is “it’s music to celebrate to, smile to, dance to, paint to, and throw your hands up in the air to.”
