TIDAL implements DJ toolkits, BPM-specific playlists

Attention, producers and DJs, for TIDAL has announced some new DJ-centered platform integrations. The Aspiro-owned DSP plans to grant subscribers access to exclusive artist-curated playlists featuring finished tracks, instrumentals, and acapella recordings, all organized by BPM. For example, some of the newly added playlists include “Afrobeats Hits 100-110 BPM” and “DJ Tools: Classic rap Instrumentals, brimming with old-school hip-hop beats that DJs can scratch and blend with flair during a mix.”

For $10 per month, or $20 for hi-fi sound quality, TIDAL subscribers gain immediate access to these additions. What’s more, TIDAL has introduced a self-integrated DJ software, giving these creative playlists some genuine value. The platform plans to incorporate Hercules’ beginner DJ software, DJUCED, as well as Edging Mix, a user-friendly mobile mixer.

With everything that major DSPs offer, and now more, TIDAL is making strides in a positive direction. Discover more about these DJ-focused integrations here.
