AmyElle is diving into old-school house with her new single, “Push It.” Aiming to bring a return to Chicago’s signature style of footworking dance music, the rising house producer hooks in with her infectious beats and transports listeners back to early-80s Chicago.

“I always find myself endlessly searching for old classic house records that set dancefloors ablaze, wishing I could have experienced music at this iconic time. For ‘Push It,’ it was important to add that grit and feeling of imperfection to create that older analogue feel which I think is lost in today’s music. I used a memorable repetitive chant of ‘Push It Up, Kick It Up, All You Need To Know’ to have the purpose to be sung along to and have the feeling of freedom and being carefree: all you need to do is dance in that moment. My ultimate goal was to have an interactive feel good energetic record with on goal and that is to get you dancing.”
