Premiere: Wax Motif sparks Holy Ship! Wrecked hype with pre-festival mix

Wax Motif has had a busy few weeks to say the least, what with reuniting with fans at Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival, mainlining it to Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner to open for Skrillex‘s first show back in New York City since 2017, and releasing another pre-THRILLS album cut right after, the Scruffizer-assisted, “Come Again.” Now, Wax ushers in a new mix ahead of Holy Ship! Wrecked 2021 via Dancing Astronaut.

The 60-minute mix offers Wax Motif’s signature reverberating house beats for the first half of the stint before granting the last 30 minutes to new kid on the block, Colorsick. Taking fans with an impeccably curated excursion, the mix features new music from House Of Wax mainstays Bleu Clair, Biscits, Taiki Nulight, and more. Prepare for Holy Ship! Wrecked 2021, to be held in Riviera Maya from December 3 – 7, and stay tuned for Wax Motif’s debut LP THRILLS.
