Astro Arcade: Bored Ape Yacht Club’ Jimbo partners with Reo Cragun, Clear Eyes for ‘Delist your ape (2DaMoon)’

Bored Ape Yacht Club continues to break barriers when it comes to NFTs‘ intersection with music. Bored Ape Yacht Club (“BYAC”) ape #9797—Jimbo—has become the first NFT to release a music video, and that production is “Delist your ape (2DaMoon)” featuring Reo Cragun and Clear Eyes (Jeremy Lloyd from Marian Hill).
Jimbo released a statement about his collaboration with Reo Cragun and Clear Eyes, sharing, “Ever since I was born in the Metaverse, I fell in love with Reo’s music. We became friends on social media, met up, and started cooking instantly. He introduced me to Clear Eyes and it was like jelly finding bread and peanut butter. We just ended up making a banger.”
Bored Ape Yacht Club is a NFT collection consisting of 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs. Each unique digital collectible lives on the Ethereum blockchain and is programmatically generated from more than 170 possible traits, including expression, headwear, clothing, and color.
Jimbo’s “Delist your ape (2DaMoon)” music video builds on recent Bored Ape activity, including the establishment of Bored Ape Yacht Club Music Group with Universal Music Group. Shortly thereafter, Big Night Talent signed two apes from the ESCAPΞPLAN music group.
