Ayoo, XPNSV TASTE buckle down on the bass-house end—stream ‘Dripping Non Stop’
Taking taco fanaticism and translating it into a defining vocal sample is the name of Ayoo and XPNSV TASTE’s bass-house game on “Dripping Non Stop.” The go-round between the former, a house- and bass-house-specializing brother duo, and the latter, a Vancouver-anchored solo artist, kinetically combines sonic and culinary sensibilities in a rumbling framework that boldly bespeaks the trio’s synergy.
Icon Collective graduate XPNSV TASTE delineated the link, remarking, “After being connected with the AYOO boys…I was instantly inspired by their dripping taco logo. I was craving a loaded spicy taco when the lyrics ‘sauce so hot got me dripping nonstop’ popped into my brain. The boys had a tune they needed to finish and sent it over to me to work on. I was in love with the bassline they wrote so I went to work adding my signature leads and recorded the vocals. It wasn’t long before we new we had our first banger together.”
“Dripping Non Stop,” out now via Digital Empire Records, is Ayoo’s first official single of 2021. It’s XPNSV TASTE’s fifth showing this year, directly succeeding November’s “Love Is Gone” with TRIF3CTO. Stream “Dripping Non Stop” below.
