Rich Furniss stokes the house fire with sophomore career single, ‘Let Me Work’

Rich Furniss has a request: let him work, please.

With a touch of tasteful flippancy and crisp attitude comes “Let Me Work,” Furniss’ buoyant answer to his career-opening single, “I’ll Be There” alongside Apollo XO. After circling the electronic release ring for the first time with the Bang This-supported number in October, Furniss is stepping out for a second lap, a Chris Crack-assisted four-on-the-floor cut in hand. Crack supplies the sophomore song’s spoken topline, an element that adds a sense of novelty to Furniss’ second-ever original considering that “I’ll Be There” was an introduction to the dance scene made in instrumental fashion.
“Let Me Work” caps off Furniss’ recent live stint at HeatWave Art Basel Edition in Miami on December 3 and, lucky for house-minded listeners, arrives just ahead of his December 10 set at Electric Hotel in Chicago. More information about the venue, which takes inspiration from the look and tenor of Germany’s nightlife scene, is available here for Windy City house heads who can catch Furniss spinning his latest live, in just one day’s time.
