RONCO flexes his house muscle on ’The One’

In 2018, Kendrick Acken had formalized the name of his new project: RONCO. With the launch of the brand came live bookings, and by 2020, the advent of RONCO’s debut single, “It’s Still Nothing,” released via Bring The Kingdom, a division of Don Diablo’s Hexagon Records.

In the years since, RONCO has refined his sound in the house domain through a smattering of originals, the latest of which he bills as “probably [his] favorite track” that he’s written to date. That would be “The One,” a deep, vocal-centric candidate for club play that comes in two formats: a radio mix and a standard edit.
“The song is really all about how amazing life can be when you have someone to go through it with. It adds a whole layer of excitement and adventure when you can share those moments with another person,” RONCO reflected on “The One.”
The single, out now via Uttermost, follows May’s “OK Boomer” and can be streamed below.
