Good Morning Mix: David Guetta rings in 2022 with electric stream from Louvre, Abu Dhabi

In two Decembers in a row, David Guetta has now rung in the new year from a breathtaking location. After spending his final day of 2021 with an hour-plus set in front of Paris’ iconic Louvre Glass Pyramid, the future rave co-creator followed it up by taking to Abu Dhabi for another year-end stream from the art museum’s United Arab Emirates site, extending his virtual United At Home series that’s also seen him travel to MiamiNew York City, and Dubai.

Standing in the middle of a custom-built stage next to the museum that’s overlooks the Persian Gulf, Guetta delivered nearly an hour’s worth of electric selections as he brought in 2022. If the tracklist is any indication, the future rave sound is set to guide the next 12 months yet again, with Guetta’s New Year’s Eve performance including “Permanence“—his still-unreleased meeting with MORTEN—Guetta and Zedd’s rework of “It Gets Better,ARTBAT’sHorizon” blended with  Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd’sMoth To A Flame,” and an unreleased future rave reimagining of “When Love Takes Over.
