BBC Radio 1’s newest resident debuts ‘BOYZ’—stream TSHA’s latest
On “BOYZ,” released via the fabric Records label, TSHA once again demonstrates her composing talent on a hip-shaking club banger buoyed by oscillating, soulful vocal chops, resounding 808s, and the delicate plucking of harp strings that meander throughout. Inspired by old-school raves, the captivating hi-hats and driving kick drums help cement “BOYZ” as one of the most compelling big-room house tracks released this year.
On February 23 via Instagram, the member of Dancing Astronaut‘s class of Artists to Watch in 2021 announced her partnership with fabric London in the form of her own featured compilation. “Expect a snapshot of club culture past and present, touching upon rave, ‘90s dance, house, techno, UKG, soul, grime, and disco. I was trying to take it back to core dance music, which is about escapism and fun and connecting with people,” TSHA said. “The acid-house-inspired dance volume will be released to the masses on May 6.
Currently playing a select few venues around the UK, TSHA will be behind the decks at several venues around Europe this Spring before heading to North America to join Bob Moses on their United States tour, kicking off on May 12 at The Warfield in San Francisco. International fans, don’t fret—the artist will be headlining several beloved UK and European festivals later this year.
