Good Morning Mix: Vintage Culture partners wtih Cercle for sunset stream from Brazil’s Museu do Amanhã
It’d been nearly three years since Cercle last paid a visit to the country of Brazil, and it was only fitting that it tapped Vintage Culture for his first-ever set in partnership with the nomadic streaming brand. Taking to the Museu do Amanhã, Vintage Culture stood before one of Rio de Janeiro’s most recognizable landmarks for more than an hour and a half under a Brazilian sunset, with his hometown stream from January 24 now being officially uploaded to Cercle’s YouTube channel.
Vintage Culture lengthens Cercle’s never-ending pursuit of hosting performances from some of the world’s finest locations, with the sight of a live audience refreshingly happening once again after Cercle reintroduced in-person crowds in late 2021. Soundtracking the “neofuturistic structure” that was placed within Rio de Janeiro’s Praça Mauá, Vintage Culture fills up the ID bucket during Cercle’s first outing of the new year, scattering 11 unreleased tracks throughout the hour-plus set—including an opening ID that’s been credited to Cristoph—before unloading his rework of RÜFÛS DU SOL’s “Next To Me” as well as a finale of his SHELLS-backed reunion with Sonny Fodera, “Nightjar.”
