‘Hit The Dancefloor’ to Cloverdale’s hau5trap debut

Halifax, Canada’s Cloverdale has got yet another high-octane tech-house import, and by track’s end, its title—”Hit The Dancefloor”—becomes less of a directive and more of an urge. Touted by the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 as a record that “means business,” “Hit The Dancefloor” marks Cloverdale’s hau5trap debut, and it’s one conducted with bassline-threaded pomp and circumstance. With its four-on-the-floor organization and “love affair between the pounding kick and sultry vocal,” as Cloverdale calls it, “Hit The Dancefloor” is heady fodder for exactly that: the dance floor.

“Hit The Dancefloor” is Cloverdale’s second production of 2022 to date, trailing January’s “TALKIN” alongside DJ Susan.
