Back in October of 2021, Chris Lorenzo bestowed his rework of The Mamas & Papas’ historic hit, “California Dreamin,'” upon his exhilarated fan base. Cut to 2022, and one of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2022 LP Giobbi has added her own high vibration to the 1965 track, joining Vintage Culture‘s climactic remix from November.

Proudly touting her Deadhead roots by donning each of the 80+ Grateful Dead tees in her live sets, LP Giobbi’s spin synchronizes with her Woodstock-era inspiration and adds to her remix streak thus far in 2022. Adding an echoed bassline and classic piano chord progressions, the new remix takes Lorenzo’s deep-house cut and adds layered kicks and syncopated vocals from The Mamas & Papas original acapella.

LP Giobbi has also announced the FEMME HOUSE North American tour, where she will be joined by special guest Bklava. Founded by Giobbi herself, FEMME HOUSE is a platform dedicated to inspiring, teaching, and uplifting women and gender-expansive individuals in the music technology space. Partnering with Ableton, FEMME HOUSE will be hosting workshops teaching intro-level production with certified Ableton trainers at each stop of the tour.
