After a 2021 that laid claim to eight releases that collectively elevated Matroda’s standing in the underground setting, the Jack The House 2 EP maker is entering 2022 with a club weapon in tow. Matroda’s first original of the calendar year, “Come With Me,” finds him aligning with Rhiannon Roze for a pulsing, percussively led dive in tech’s deep end. And live play out isn’t far away; Matroda is in the midst of a combined winter and spring tour that formally commenced on February 3, with plans to run through April 2. Spanning various venues and festivals in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Matroda’s latest live effort will imminently touch down in Austin, Miami Beach, and New York on February 18, 19, and 25, respectively.
