MIZE makes solo debut on Cyclops Recordings with ‘Switch’
One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists To Watch in 2022, MIZE is making his Cyclops Recordings solo debut—after his appearance on Space Wizard’s EP in 2021—with “Switch.” The highly anticipated ID has threaded its way into the producer’s SoundCloud mixes throughout the past year as a Lil Wayne mashup, and Cyclops Recordings label head, Subtronics, has regularly played out the ID in his own sets, as well.
Featuring MIZE’s unique soundscapes, entirely his own, “Switch” delivers the oozing bass that he’s quickly become known for. Although the official version of “Switch” is noticeably lacking lyrics from Lil Wayne’s “Stunin Like My Daddy,” it nevertheless stands strong on its own.
“Switch” serves as MIZE’s first track of 2022, following his 2021 EP, Balancing Act, released via SSKWAN. With a continually growing fanbase and a steady road on the way up, MIZE’s most recent single solidifies his stance as an Artist To Watch.
