Moore Kismet to become one of the youngest performers in Tomorrowland history
Moore Kismet‘s meteoric rise over the last few years has been quite the spectacle to watch unfold. Cementing themselves as a forced to be reckoned with with the designation of Dancing Astronaut‘s Breakout Artist in 2020, Kismet has consistently delivered fresh, inspired content to a growing legion of fans, ahead of their debut album due later this year. The teenage wunderkind continues to rack up early career accolades, though, Kismet’s latest milestone may be one of their most important to date. As Tomorrowland‘s 2022 return draws closer, the festival has started to drip out acts from this year’s lineup, following the stage hosts reveal with the announcement that Kismet will be playing at the hallowed Belgian event later this summer, making them likely the second youngest performer in the festival’s storied, colorful history.
To provide a barometer, Mark Villa is the youngest performer in the festival’s history at 15 years old in 2016. Martin Garrix‘s first Tomorrowland appearance came just months after his 18th birthday. Similarly, Porter Robinson debuted at the festival just weeks after turning 20. Now, Moore Kismet will have the opportunity to command the Tomorrowland just a few months after turning 17. Kismet’s announcement comes with a handful of other up-and-coming names programmed for this year’s event, including Jana Vitiligo, Carola, RayRay, and Mandidextrious, and Odssey.
The announcement also comes on the heels of Tomorrowland’s expansion to three weekends this year, effectively taking over Boom, Belgium for almost the entire month of July in 2022. As the festival’s full lineup delivery inches closer to the February 10 reveal, expect more highlight bookings to be revealed in the coming weeks.
