Ophelia Records puts dance music’s brightest front and center again on fourth ‘Advent’ showcase

Ever since Ophelia Records introduced its bi-annual Advent compilation concept at the end of 2020, its proven to be a fruitful platform to take dance music’s next generation center stage. Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Label of the Year is now doing so yet again to lengthen its picture-perfect streak of releases to start the year, recruiting a sum of 11 A-listers in the making for a seven-part senior installment in its Advent series.

A key facet in Ophelia Records’ case to become our label of the year was the ongoing initiative of venturing lightyears past a dependable reserve of melodic bass, furthering that undertaking on Ophelia Records Presents: Advent Volume IV. Led by if found and Monika Santucci’s “Too Long,” Ophelia Records’ newest showcase also sees Dancing Astronaut‘s Artist to Watch in 2022 Xavi make his label return on “Tether” with yitaku, followed by juuku and REMNANT.exe‘s wave-powered gem “searching,” Subshock & Evangelos‘ psytrance-loaded “Out Of Space,” Vetchka’s “Diamond Eyes,” Blosso‘s—who appeared on the series’ third edition—melodic house original “Don’t You Want It,” and ultimately Vaance and Exede‘s—who appeared on Ophelia’s second Advent—”Inside My Head.”
