Step into Wax Motif’s ‘House of Wax’
Wax Motif‘s debut LP, House of Wax, is something of a sonic continuum. “These are all songs that I have made over the years that fit my overall style and are meant to stand the test of time—some of these were created years ago,” the Divided Souls label head attested. “This album shows my progression, the different styles I’ve tested, and the sounds that felt true to myself.”
House of Wax canvasses Wax Motif’s creative inclinations in a 17-cut embodiment of his stylistic signature that arrives with a swagger all its own. Teased since early 2020, the LP seamlessly stitches together different production periods in Wax Motif’s artistic history. The result? Premium bass-house fuel that listeners may now siphon.
Wax Motif’s debut project precedes his inaugural stint at Ultra Music Festival Miami this March and packages four new songs (“Issa Vibe,” “Eyes Closed,” “Waiting,” and “Live For The Night”) alongside three previously unreleased remixes. The seven newbies nestle in among House of Wax‘s various pre-album singles, including “Come Again” with Shahay and Scrufizzer, “Thank You” with Kaelyn Behr, and “Hard Street” with ALRT and Nessly, to name just a few.
