TV Noise fire off second bass-house heater of 2022 on STMPD RCRDS, ‘Hold Up’
TV Noise have come out swinging in 2022. The Dutch duo erased a year-long hiatus on STMPD RCRDS in mid-January and exactly a month later, they’re back with an “Astral” follow-up. Based on the similarity between artworks and brief stretch in between releases, TV Noise may very well be walking out a potential sophomore EP on Martin Garrix’s label, with “Hold Up” now stepping in as their second release of the year.
STMPD RCRDS’ self-description of “Hold Up” as a “big banger” is about as accurate as it’ll ever get. With their newly announced back-to-back alongside Blinders now on the calendar for this coming July, TV Noise’s latest undoubtedly gives them another weapon to shoot off at Tomorrowland—and maybe even Martin Garrix for his Ultra set—as they crank their bass-house firepower up 20 notches to somehow make festival season’s looming onset even more in demand.
