After a year-long hiatus from music, the esoteric k?d has released another unbridled artistic work, ”Return To Nothingness.” The single is the first to be released from the producer’s eagerly coveted debut album, forthcoming on HARD Recs. “RETURN TO NOTHINGNESS” is a creative, futuristic composition. Vocoder chops take centerfold as distorted synthesizers and vocals intone a narrative on origins and emotion.

The imaginative single is accompanied by an animation, made in collaboration with art studio Herø Projects and BAMIBOY. The first of an upcoming series of visuals, the video features plenty of fighting sequences and martial arts, as the protagonist is seen attempting to flee from a classified laboratory.

k?d’s creative melding of illustrative art with music has earned him the support of his peers in the electronic community and a growing fan base, so much so that it’s given him the opportunity to perform at EDC, Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Lollapalooza, and remix tunes for RL Grime, The Chainsmokers, Annabel Jones, and Manila Killa.
