Knock2 mints return to Sable Valley with new single, ‘JADE’
Sable Valley and Knock2 have remained closely in one another’s orbit since the latter first released material on RL Grime’s fledging trap imprint. “RADIAL” featuring ISOxo landed in 2019, and now Knock2 is following up with solo cut “JADE” in 2022. Knock2’s sophomore release with the label is exactly what we’ve come to expect from the artist who consistently blurs the lines between bass-house and trap stylings. It’s a high-energy club weapon that dates as far back as Knock2’s set for NIGHTMODE in February of 2021.
Even in the wake of the release of “JADE,” Knock2 is still sitting on one of our most-anticipated IDs of 2022, by way of a track currently known as “Hot.” And we know he came out on stage during ISOxo’s Berkeley tour date alongside the rest of the San Diego Waterboys (Aleko, Frosttop, and RemK) to debut what we can only assume to be a scintillating new collaborative ID. There’s a lot to be excited about for fans of the San Diego artist and one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2021, and “JADE” is certainly topping the list at the moment.
