Throughout their illustrious career, Krewella have become known for hard-hitting and emotionally charged music. True to form, the third time is a charm for the Yousaf sisters. Their latest body of work – The Body Never Lies is a shining example of the sound and style that secured them a place in the EDM hall of fame.

The sisters have unveiled the remainder of their 10 track LP hot on the heels of a slew of hit singles, including “Never Been Hurt” with BEAUZ, “No Control” with MADGRRL, and “I’m Just A Monster Underneath, My Darling.” “The Body Never Lies” title hints at the range of emotions within the LP, with each track as unique and varied as our feelings themselves. “Traces” serves as a haunting opener, quickly followed by a series of heavier tracks, including the drum & bass-inspired “In The Water” and the angry yet touching “War Forever.”  An intimate album of self-reflection and an examination of their place in the world, the Yousaf sisters explore their identity, impermanence, and the strangeness at the core of the human experience. The Krew hit a different vibe on the last three tracks, focusing on the darker and more tender side of the human experience. Don’t worry though, if raucous and loud is what you’re after Jahan and Yasmine haven’t strayed too far from their signature style.

The only thing more heavy than the subject matter is the unrelenting bass and the sister’s arena-ready vocals.
