Party Favor, Marc E. Bassy demand eyes on ‘I See You’
American DJ Dylan Ragland, professionally known as Party Favor, and singer/songwriter Marc E. Bassy prove to be a complementary pair on “I See You,” released via Ultra Records.
Following “Superhuman (with K.Flay),” with which Party Favor opened the year, the producer can be found showing off the diversity of his production style while gesturing to his melody-focused roots on “I See You.” The track features Bassy on vocals, a singer-songwriter from the Bay Area who’s built quite the catalog of originals, not to mention collaborations with Quinn XCII, G-Eazy, Kehlani, Skizzy Mars, and more. His soulful tone aligns with the chill verses that eventually build into synth-driven breakdowns.
