REAPER raises the alarm with new single ‘WARNING’
After being named one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists To Watch in 2021, REAPER has spent the time since cementing his status and making his complexity heard.
Featuring a sample that states, “you’re all going to die,” the track embodies REAPER’s heavy-hitting drum ‘n’ bass style. Its jittering and in-your-face, a brand of sound aimed at aggressive dance floors and festival fields. The instrumentals anticipate the track’s heavy style, the vocal sample ramping up anxious tones before hitting listeners with a swift break.
The track succeeds REAPER’s 2022 opener, “XLR8,” and earlier, his curation of Space Yacht’s debut drum ‘n’ bass compilation, Critical Mas Vol. 1, released in September. Over the past few years, REAPER has consistently made a name for himself within the drum ‘n’ bass scene, his unique style stretching across a broad catalog of earth-shattering tunes.
