RemK, Ekali release highly anticipated trap collaboration, ‘Remember Me’
One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2022 is starting off their release circuit with a bang in a high-profile trap collaboration with one of the genre’s staple artists. The former, RemK, and the latter, Ekali, have been teasing new music together for a while now. At San Diego’s OMFG NYE! festival, Ekali notably brought RemK out on stage during his set not long after RemK had performed himself. “Remember Me” is pure trap bliss and according to RemK, is “a full-circle moment” that represents his chance to release a joint project with someone who’s been of his musical inspirations since his high school days.
RemK is a fast-rising trap producer from Southern California and “Remember Me” is his biggest release to date. Past outings like “High Tide” and “Lowrider” have propelled the San Diego Waterboy from the status of relatively unknown to Artist to Watch. “Remember Me” lands the same day as an epic back-to-back performance with another one of our Artists to Watch in 2022, FrostTop, at Brownies & Lemonade’s Triple Double Cross event in Los Angeles. For Ekali, the new single marks his first since 2019’s collaboration with ILLENIUM, “Hard To Say Goodbye” featuring Chloe Angelides.
