Seratoga further shape their sound on second career single, ‘Go keep’

In December 2021, emergent electronic duo Seratoga launched its dance project to the tune of “Kaylan,” trapped with vocals from Ebony Claire. Nearly five months after making their debut, the musical minds behind Seratoga are returning, “Go Keep” in tow. Their sophomore career single extends the instrumentally textured, sun soaked style audible on “Kaylan”; drums play amid synths in a mellifluous framework that breezily unfolds. The Aussies forego vocals on this sonic kick of energy, allowing the arrangement to singularly attract and command attention. The Seratoga sound will appeal to listeners who gravitate toward melodic, often instrumentally led soundscapes, not to mention chill-out, ambient, and even down-tempo subgenres. Although it’s early in the context of Seratoga’s creative path, their initial steps warrant their recognition as a pair well worth watching.

“Go keep” is out now via Bad Influence.
