Blanke gives Said The Sky, ILLENIUM, and Chelsea Cutler’s ‘Walk Me Home’ a dynamic reimagining

Less than five months into 2022 and it’s already been more than a banner year for Blanke. After submitting seven consecutive bids for track of the year through his first-ever Ophelia Records EP—Land Of The Wayfarer—back in March, Blanke is picking back up on his remix responsibilities for the first time since he reworked Dabin and Mokita‘s “Drown” last summer. And he’s moving onto the other two-thirds of an unofficial dance music trio, being called in by Said The Sky and ILLENIUM for a reimagining of the former’s Sentiment single with Chelsea Cutler, “Walk Me Home.”

After letting his Twitter followers easily decode what the emojis meant behind which track his newest remix was going to be for, Blanke has now delivered it in full a month later, marking his second musical cross with Said The Sky after his “Potionstake in 2020. Blanke’s spin only pads what’s shaping up to be a possible breakout artist campaign, pushing “Walk Me Home” deeper into melodic bass territory as he balances a versatile, three-drop setup—reminiscent of Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 track of the year, “One More Day“—that brings even more depth to the duo’s production and Cutler’s heart-strung lyricism.
